[DUG] CRViewer.dll from delphi

I have a question about this.
Why do people use Crystal reports then have the whole overhead of dlls
qwerky delphi units instead of products such as ReportBuilder, Rave, or
FastReports which are 1. native Delphi code and 2. are just as good as
Crystal? An 3. no dlls.
Its just an interest qustion than mean to start a flaming session. I have
not used Crystal and Delphi since like Dephi 5 and that was only because I
had to so we didn't have 2 sets of identical reports to maintain.
Jeremy

One of my employees used it and got our app working. The only reason we
have not migrated is that
Before we could just copy the CR dlls to the users fatclients or TS
sessions. Now we have to use an MSI installer to install it on ever
workstation (automatically). Its not a goer yet.
I think it was easy enough, just use the new vcl and tiny changes in the
calling procedure. If you have specific problems, I can ask her.
