Hi,
We use Delphi 2006 (Service Pack 3) and our app accesses Interbase 7.5
databases using IBX data access components.
Recently we ran into a real strange problem and we don't know what's
causing it.
On several client sites text of SQL statements gets changed randomly at
run time and produces "Token unknown" or "Column unknown" error, for
example "AND" would become "ANB" or "ANC" and "FolderID" would become
"FolderIB"...etc. And the problem is intermittent, re-running the app
will usually make the symptom to go away.
We do not programmatically assign/change SQL text, it's entered into
IBQuery's SQL Property in the Property Inspector.
All reported incidents happen on Windows XP machines and our app has
been running happily on these machines for years up until recently.
Has anybody seen anything like this before and can you help ?
Kind Regards
Cheng Wei
