Frankly speaking, I see Delphi 7 is excellent enough and no need to upgrade.

Did I miss something, or is the developmnent world not needing more
sensible pricing structures now that the rest of the world (who pays your

Yes, I saw it.
This is the Delphi list, though (i.e. focussed on one dev tool).
What benefit does this scheme provide for e.g. small teams who only use
one Embarcadero product?
