[DUG] BDS.exe memory issues

My Host machine is 64bit Vista with 8GB ram.. my VMWARE Delphi environment
is 32bit winxp with 2GB real ram allocated. on average SQLServer uses 900mb,
and i normally have 600-800mb free..
I find when my memory is less than 400mb free. SQL server starts taking
minutes to do jobs that normally take seconds..
I am having no issues in this setup.
