[DUG] [OFF TOPIC] Who is a good internet provider for ADSL2?

Steve,
I agree that Vodafone do not have very good customer service, but the
product seems good.
The only downtime I've had was:
1) when a tech had to dig a hole to patch the cable
2) when someone left a coke can resting against the contact in the
roadside cabinet and I kept getting all of the phone calls for someone
living several kilometres away.
Even though I live at the very end of the cable run (there's not even
power supplied past my neighbour's house), I still get 1MBs up and about
8MBs down from Vodafone and the service (almost) never drops. In fact, I
don't think that I have lost service at all this year.

I cannot recommend Vodafone after they made a huge mess of transferring
home/office phones and broadband. Customer service was abysmal.
However, now that it is running, it seems reliable and much faster than
before.
Speed test reports 7.4 Mb/s.
Bittorrents hit 1.2 MB/s.
