I've read about plans that NZ is to invest 3 billion in a fiber network to
give 75% of population high speed access.

Planning on moving back to Auckland in about 2-3 years . I really hope they
will have something available by then!

I just read that Oz is about to invest A$43bn in broadband infrastructure:
