If you are wanting a detailed summary of what's new in D2009 - you
should buy Marco Cantu's book (you'll learn more than you ever wanted to
know about Unicode - the first 3 chapters about 100 pages). You get an
electronic copy free with D2009 - which you can't print out. You can
also get Bob Swarts book:
http://www.lulu.com/content/paperback-book/delphi-2009-development-essentials/5037135
Which is less detailed, but still has lots of info (I haven't finished
reading Marco's book yet)
