[DUG] Porting Delphi code to Linux

Hi,

I have been asked the posibility to convert our Delphi code to run on Linux.
I don't really have any experience on Linux, but I'm sure someone would be
able to help here.

We have a bunch of Delphi applications, Win32, all Client/server structure,
Windows GUI, no data-aware controls, access DB via ADO, primarily standard
VCL controls, with one 3rd party Grid components used extensively, plus a
(very) few of other 3rd party components.

As it's only a posibility discussion, there's no timeframe or such, and
don't have to rely on the current versions of any products, i.e. if any
future product versions on the roadmap that can help, it can be option too.

I know there was Kylix, but I understood that the GUI components are quite
different, and was many years ago.

So is there any practical options that I can choose?  Or I have to start
from scratch again?
