[DUG] Kylix an MySQL

Hi All.
if anyone is doing stuff with Kylix still, or has done, and did or is
writing to a MYSQL DB, can you please tell me what controls you use/d
I found some, they do work, but they dont seem to close the connection from
time to time (regardless of my code telling it to) and I end up with max
connections ! GRRR.
 
and before anyone says anything about Lazarus or FreePascal.....I know I
should be using one of them, but at the moment its not possible :-)
