I thought you had code to save it?

To tretrieve it (rough I don't have )

ADOQuery.SQL.Add('SELECT FileCol FROM Table WHERE ID = 1');
ADOQuery.Open;
ADOQuery.FieldByName('FileCol ').SaveToFile(FileName);

FieldByName('FileCol ') should be a TBlobField
