[DUG] List Issues

HI all,

If you think you have a problem receiving messages from the DUG List Server, then please email admin at delphi.org.nz, rather than clutter this list up.

ALSO:

1. Check that you have white listed delphi.org.nz, also 123.net.nz for any system messages. Xtra / Yahoo are particularly bad in dumping messages in your spam folder - nothing to do with the contents of the message, just when they see many messages coming from one location into their network, they mark it as spam!

2. If you're on GMail you should be fine now - there was an issue recently where one overseas operator blacklisted the mailserver ( quite a common occurrence since the server sends out bulk email ) but that has been resolved.


AND FINALLY:

Time marches on, and there are more advanced systems around that achieve the networking we get from the list, so if you have ideas of what you would like - features more than anything at this stage - then let us know. 
Social networking sites allow a far greater level of sharing, so we are keen to provide a better service if we can. eg file sharing etc.
