note If reinstall, delete folder Codegear under above.....licence entry will
fail otherwise!
(There is a .license folder under there)  (Got this tip from Richard Vowles)

Hi

Installed D2007 on a laptop yesterday.  Had to uninstall it because of 
3rd party component install issues.  When I try to reinstall I get 
'Invalid serial number' when entering the same license code.
