Unfortunately the font cannot be changed (it must be hardcoded in the
tab paint method). If I had access to the class interface I could
probably implement the drawing manually, however I don't - sorry to
get the hopes up.

I actually have code around when I hid the default tabs and replaced
them with a right aligned TTabSet. However there were some issues that
couldn't be solved so I had to bin it.

I've never tried it to be honest. Let us know how it goes ;-)
