Q1, Yes.

 

Q2. No - should not. As D2007/Highlander is based on .NET 2.0. However
D2007 has the same system BPL names - and the D2007 bpls have some
issues (Forms unit).

What I did was copy all my system32\*100.bpl's into the D2006 bin
folder. Then it does not matter what the D2007 install does, or if there
are small differences that may cause you an issue.

About to install D2007 Win32 - I noticed the installer says I have to
install .Net v2 first.

 

q1 - do I have to do that for just the Win32 D2007?

 

q2 - Will this break anything in the BDS 2006 if I still want to play
with .net stuff there still or anything else in there?
