[DUG] Vista help

I do at least have things separated into different directories, but I also
have my program files NOT under the program files folder. Does anyone know
if this breaks any rules?
(The reason is simple, I allow the users to routinely run a program which
get updates to my programs from a central server to this local folder).

Why is it too difficult exactly?
The Application Data directory when used properly is a good idea, IMO. It
means that people are much more likely to be able to back up their settings
successfully for all applications.
