I wnet in and had a look at the CodeGear profile for me as a user today, and
this is what I found.

Contact status: Enable contact Decline further contact Email undeliverable User
reported as Deceased *
Email visibility: Do not publish my email address even if I post messages on
the site Allow people to write to me if I post messages, but do not disclose
my email address Publish my email address on the website for direct contact
*
E-mail: YES! Sign me up for e-mail notification of new products, services,
and special offers
Postal Mail: * YES! Send me information on new products, services, and
special offers via postal mail.
*Note*: Be sure to provide your mailing information (including "Street
Address" and "Zip/Postal Code") in your account profile.
Phone: * YES! Sign me up for telephone notification of new products,
services, and special offers.
Fax: * YES! Sign me up for facsimile notification of new products, services,
and special offers.
CDN News: YES! Sign me up for periodic email notifications of what's
happening on the Developer Network site

Although I was ticked positively for every possible form of conatct, E-mail,
Postal-Mail, Phone, Fax and CDN news, a little dropdown box at the top had
be reset or set to say Decline Further contact.

Seems a bit odd to me that all the appropropiate boxes are checked for
contact in various forms but the dropdown box was set to not have the user
(me) sent anything ?

Paul
