The Working Set is the current memory usage.  It relates to the Mem Usage
column on the Task Manager.  Peak working set will tell you the peak memory
used by the app since it was started.

I realise its only a rough or approximate tool, but all the same which of
the memory measures is the most "real" one?  Working Set/Peak Working
set/Virtual memory/Page faults?   Because I have some of my programs running
all the time along with Sysinternals too, it's an extra free lazy check ie I
don't need to do anything other than look at the best indicators...

If I had a specific concern then I would go to the FastMM stuff.
