[DUG] Anyone need XP Pro?

So the question to my mind, is not "why not", but "why"?

All the applications I currently want to run, run very happily on XP, so
why should I consider spending more money on newer hardware, when the OS
is probably going to suck most of that extra processing power anyway.

so it may be more secure than XP, but I'm careful what I download/open,
I run a firewall, anti-virus and anti-spyware sweeps, and I've never had

view.

I'm sure I'll update my view at some stage, maybe when I come to change
my PC, or start wanting software (e.g. Photoshop CS3) which only runs on
Vista, but right now, there is nothing compelling about upgrading to
Vista.
