[DUG] Breakpoint in initialization?

I have had an application stop running and stack dump shows it during
unit initialization. I want to debug, but setting breakpoints in relevant code
just come up green-crosses (invalid break). I double checked for alternative
version on disk but nothing. It seems to be because of the initialization???

Any bright ideas?
