[DUG] Weird IDE problem - D2005

I had a few weird problems when I installed IE7, un-installing IE7 fixed
them...

I've been struggling most of the day to repair an IDE problem with
D2005.

None of the Editor ToolTip functions (Help, Symbol or Expression) are 
working.

They are enabled in the Editor Options.

I have tried reinstalling D2005, uninstall and reinstall, uninstall, 
empty the BDS directory and the HKLM and HKCU Borland registry keys, 
then reinstall; all without success.

I have compared the BDS directory with another system on which I did an 
identical install and they match exactly.  All the tooltip features are 
working correctly on the other system.


Any ideas or pointers?   The next step seems to be a complete system 
rebuild.
