Jeremy,

This is possible, but it's going to be far easier if you store your 
files in one folder tree
ie

/home/jeremy/myfiles/
instead of trying to search the whole drive.
All you need to do is setup a samba (the windows share daemon) share on 
that folder, then connect to it as with any other windows share on your 
windows pc.

There are many guides for setting up samba shares on linux box
