I know - how about having the mouse pointer change shape from a pointer to a
double-ended arrow when the user moves it over the corner?

You might find that this is not a lot of work to implement ;-)

That's a fair comment.

The "customer" has requested that the dialog needs a visible hint that it
can be resized.

If anybody has any better suggestions for how to indicate "resizability",
I'm all for hearing about them.

Please don't shoot me down, but why would you want to waste more screen
space if the "window" is already re-sizable from ANY corner?  Only reason I
can think of is to add prettiness, and we all know that beauty is in the eye
of the beholder (or the M$ stimulated consumer).

Ummmm, you mean the status bar that I already said I didn't really want to
have to add? ;-)
