[DUG] Problems with the BDE

Yes, this was probably it - although this morning I restored an old 
image of my HDD so things are working again.  I had forgotten I had 
upgraded to Beta 2 (it's funny how one forgets until reminded, after 
reading this the word "Doooh!" popped through my head)
