[DUG] Problems with the BDE

Is the table empty?
You get "Operation not applicable" when trying to open an empty table
with UniDirectional turned on.
Is the file be read-only and you are trying to open the table to be
writeable?

I'm hoping someone knows what to do here as I'm running out of ideas.  
This morning when I switched on my laptop (was working fine on friday), 
everytime I try to open a paradox table I get "Operation not
applicable".

I've re-installed the BDE, deleted it, deleted the registery settings, 
copied it from a working machine, and am still stuck.  Any suggestions?
