[DUG] Cant convert varianttypecastError to OleStr

Got a strange one.

This line:
        ADOTable1.Locate('Alarmtime',VarArrayOf([dt]),[]);

generates 'Could not convert variant of type (Array Variant) into type (Olestr).
(dt is TDateTime)

Any ideas what is going on???
