Thanks for the suggestions. I was trying with D6 so you may have hit on
the problem. My Russion programmer I am not sure what version he was
using but I thought it was D7.  

 

He reported that after setting the parameters and trying to import the
data he got the error message

 

" Not enough storage is available to complete this operation" or
C0000005

 

Which he described as "strange"   Does that suggest anything that he
should be looking at? 

 

Seeing he has already put some time into it I will pass on the comments
from Kyley and see if that helps.
