If it is ActiveX, have you tried the import ActiveX control, option, and
you are saying that the code generated from the import does not work?

Subject: [DUG] ActiveX project
Esignal is a large US based supplier of quotes and real-time prices for
the Stock Market, Futures markets and Commodities markets.
Esignal provides a Desktop API using ActiveX which allows the data to be
accessed and anlaysed using ones own program. Problem is that the API is
available in only VB or C++. I have been trying to get it to work with
Delphi but without success. I have since put out the query trying to get
some input from others and had a Russian programmer try but he also was
unable to get it to work. I have since asked ESignal about it and they
admitted that they had heard that others have also tried and failed. I
suggested to them that they take up the matter with Borland and try and
establish why it works in C++ but not in Delphi or if there is something
in their data that is incompatible with Delphi components. Their
response was that Delphi was an exotic language and they provided
support for the popular languages and were not interested in trying to
resolve the issue and had no one on their staff who was familiar with
Delphi.
Is there someone in the Group who would like to have a crack at this? I
am sure there must be a simple answer to this.
You can get the information on their current API's from
http://share.esignal.com/groupcontents.jsp?folder=&groupid=185
If you wish to try it out you would need to download the software but
you would require my password to be able to run it I will supply the
account number and password to anyone interested in trying - just email
me privately. Happy to pay a small fee of some kind if successful.
