My beef with the article is simply this: until there becomes something
identifiable for Borland to sell, how can it sell it? If the interviewer
actually had a clue those were the questions they would be asking. 

Clearly the interviewer had no clue. 

Not that I am allowed to comment anyway :-)

Yeah I agree. He really did get a bit pissed :)

I have to agree with Paul Brislen, whenever something is for sale the
Seller ALWAYS overstates the interest in the product. If Borland had
said no, real interest so far but its early days (not that im saying
thats the case), then they would be dead in the water when it comes to
talking dollars with a buyer, can you imagine it....
