As someone that uses VS2005 a lot and BDS2005 quite a bit, these results
seem about right to me. Delphi has definitely got the fastest debugger and
compiler out there, the editor could do with some work - Visual Studio's
editor is definitely better.  Apart from VS being more stable and quicker to
load etc, I think BDS2006 is really nice. It's the little things that make
it good.

 

I do like the integrated Code Analysis and Unit testing within the IDE in VS
- not sure what BDS has for this - I only have Pro.
