[DUG] toolbar controls

If they are running on Windows XP and you have the old look controls then
even without touching the code the best significant difference would be to
upgrade and recompile in D2006 and add the WindowsXP TXPManifest component
to the mainform. Its included in D2006 and is a one click addition. That
gives the XP look to all the standard controls. (I think you can also do
this in D7, but D2006 is simpler).

Are the forms resizable? - if they are running much higher resolution
screens now there are some nice resize form options you can use in D2006
even if they are not.

These two are still using the standard VCL as well.

Subject: [DUG] toolbar controls

Hi All,

I need to do some make-overs on a couple of legacy projects here which
currently use bog standard vcl controls for everything.

I'd like to attack the menus, toolbars etc first using actionlists etc. Any
suggestions on worthwhile component sets to look at? Don't need to be
freeware as my customer will pay assuming it saves my time and makes the
apps look more professional.

Some are still in D5 or D7 but will be migrated at some stage to D10.

Regards,
