I think it's a great idea too, somehow the names "Turbo Delphi", "Turbo
Explorer", and "Turbo C#" don't quite sound right to me, Turbo Pascal
and Turbo C++ sounded much better back in the day. "Turbo Delphi" sounds
a bit weird I think, but that's just my 2c.

Anyway, this will be a great comeback I believe, sadly since installing
Ubuntu Linux almost 2 months ago, I can't see myself going back to
Windows in a hurry anymore, only for games now, I've finally left
Windows behind thank god, and I am not missing it. Hopefully Turbo
Delphi will be able to output Linux stuff, even if it is going to be
through the Mono framework, I know RemoObjects Chrome can, however I
still prefer binaries to managed code.

However, I am having great fun playing around with GTK2 in Freepascal at
low level, without Lazarus that is. As a hobbyist programmer, I am
thinking of writing a cross platform set of GUI libraries for
Freepascal, between GTK2 and WIN32, but with similarities to Java, using
layout managers, so the control sizing doesn't screw up between the two
platforms. I don't care how long it takes me, I just love to do that
sort of stuff, writing open source projects that help future
generations.
