[DUG] Interbase and blobs

You will need an app..  how is the engine supposed to know the content of a 
blob or how to save it to a file.

Hi all,

I'm just on my way to see a customer and wanted some quick advice.

He has an application which uses Interbase (not my app), and wants to
extract some image files to disk (tif format) from some blob fields.

Can this be done in IB in straight sql, or will I need a small app?
