MessageLast time I installed it, it worked fine.  That was probably 9 months ago.  You may need to add the Soft Gems folders to your Environment folders.

But I had all sorts of strange problems with the Soft Gems XP themes on D5.  Some components would not end up being themed, and then more major problems, such as when terminating an app, it would appear terminated but it was infact still running with the CPU sitting at 100% and needed killing in the Task Manager.  And there was some other access violation problem I was having with a ListView which I was not able to solve, even after debugging the Soft Gems code, so I gave up on it and upgraded to D7.

Not all my apps had these problems, so it was rather inconsistent.  It may work fine for you.
