[DUG] History Tabs?

I call these unwanted files "mouse_droppings" and I do not want 
them.  Every new version creates more mouse droppings...  there is 
the ddp file that annoys me most of all.

I have automatic batch files etc that remove all bakup files.  They 
also remove map files (which I now have to stop as D2005 uses 
them webreferences.

I do my own structured backups and archives.  I do not need nambi-
pambi save every few minutes backup scheme  :-)

There is no way to stop the creation of the invisible folder, even if you
set the number of revision to store to 0.

Why would you turn this off anyway? Doesn't make sense to me.

Its saved me a number of times.

Does anyone know of a way to disable the creation and use of the history
tabs and the invisible folders it creates? It seems like a good feature if
you don't have other  options, but I'd really like to make it stop?

Rohit, you said you found a link to registry changes? I'm sure its not
recommended.... but.
