[DUG] Delphi 2006 snippet

I agree in this case. :-)

Just to let people know, I came across a webpage where it said that
the majority of the IDE problems were caused by together and gave
instructions on how to fix the registry entries. I have to say that the
IDE is now snappier and has not crashed once. Before, on bad
days it would crash 8-10 times.

I am glad you are happy with the concept.
I would be more comfortable with it if the original purchased item
actually worked as stated, and that the quick releases were for
genuine reasons. Clearly D2006 is a release for the purpose of
charging people for fixing bugs in D2005 version. I don't want an
assured copy of D2006, i want a working copy of D2005.

They are working too fast on feature creep. This is causeing scope
creep, which leads to bad design, which gave us a bung product.

All in all, D2005 is not such a bad product as to be unuseable, but it
is not a "finished" product, and I doubt '06 will be either. This time
I'll wait 8 months into the track to see how all the people on
software Assurance are doing with it.
