1 - Employee

2 - No longer Delphi : it has the best of the jobs
(something weird to do with it being chosen
by people/teams that care most about getting things
done), but never managed to get the hang of
the big swings in the job market : as soon as
I get settled there are 100's of jobs (well : 7),
whenever I'm looking there are hardly any.
(Well : not without moving, is the North Shore
the Delphi capital of NZ, or is it Christchurch?).

3 - Since 98 (D2 on a Win98 box that'd crash 2 or 3 times
	per day)

4 - Since 99 (btw : Neven is your ex-Business Partner
	still at BAR?)
ISTR I was among the first to ask about
using Word as a COM server with D(2 or 3).

5 - Wishful thinking, but yup. Nobody is going to buy
the next version of Windows, and everyone'll
realise the number of Win2k installs they don't
want to update, and start rolling 2k over XP.
MS will have to do a version of 2k with the
memory management changes from XP. And the dotnet
	download'll be 60GB by that stage :)

and :

> 1) Windows GUIs 2) Web app GUIs (if you do) 3) Middleware (eg,
> ISAPI, ASP, custom TCP etc etc) 4) Server / Database

1) C#
2) php
3) Wishful thinking, but : Erlang
4) all the above

Cheers, Kurt.
