[DUG] Future tools

The comments open a related question..

So far I am using vanilla D5 Pro and no 3rd party components...found I
wonderful to learn and can do everything I need within vanilla VCL :)  Was
contemplating moving to D2005 soon, haven't looked seriously at C# yet (as a
musician I love the name if not the owner).

Question 1 - Should I be instead looking to go to C#?
Question 2 - List main advantages you see...
