[DUG] 7 Job Positions Open

AMEN !!!  Yip, my work is now on its 3rd IT manager. Only ONE I repeat ONE
has had any IT background. One was an Accountant who's eyes glazed over when
I talked about anything technical, and our current one, was overheard saying
he only got us because no one else wanted the IT team !!  What the F**K !!!
He is also technically retarded, BUT my direct manager has a long IT
background and he buffers us from having to deal with the nonsense.
But we have also had 6 people leave from my work this year alone, and 4 of
them were from IT !! Well IS as it is now called.
Basically there are 2 of us who have been there the longest(over 5 years),
and if either of us left, they would be right upthe creek !!

But for me, its only a matter of time till I will be working full time (as
an employee) of my own company (well mine and my business parter). I
negotiated some fridays off from my current role, and work full time on
fridays at home for my company and its just made me hungryer to leave.

But it is hard, because I want out of my current role now, but I now they
would be stuffed if I did, and it does play on my mind. End of the day tho,
its not my problem, its theirs for no proper stucture, and letting key
personal leave, but still....  :-(

I've been considering changing jobs for some time now - mostly to keep my
sanity.  However there is so much stuff that I am responsible for that no
one else knows about that the company would have some difficulties if I left
and I would feel bad if this was the case.  I guess this is probably a
common problem when working for a small company .

Does anyone else feel stuck in a job through some sort of misplaced loyalty?
