Hi Rohit,

Just interested to know how you decided being a good programmer through
responses/CV? What kind of project you were asking to them do? Was that
really challenge project? How you stop them asking for help on internet if
you did not ask them do project on site with you?

Regards
Leigh

I see the wink, however...

Its not just familiarity with Delphi, its also them being a good
programmer. Last time I went over, I did not test for the latter. This
time I have tested the candidates on both issues.

The difference is in the numbers.... an ad here produces at most 50
responses, out of which maybe one or two or worth interviewing.
For the last session, I got 490 CVs. I asked 10 of them to do a
project. Only three finished. And I only interviewed those three.

Hi Rohit,

Why?

I thought that Delphi development is normal skill. It is not that hard,
right? ;-)

Good Luck. I had to give up locally and made a trip overseas in
May to hire some developers. :-)
