Yes - we have a *huge* amount of code that all of our apps depend on - 
code that manages object streaming, custom RTTI, Application setup; all 
sorts of stuff that let us concentrate just about exclusively on 
architecture and business logic when building a new app. To rewrite that 
would be a massive effort that I'm not looking forward to (there are 
only two of us developing apps here) but I think eventually we will have 
to and I'm not quite sure what language we will go to. Both Delphi.NET 
and C# are the main contenders I guess. We have started doing web 
applications more and more and I guess a lot of the middleware and GUI 
stuff could be written in anything (already using Java for applets), but 
the back end stuff is where the grunt happens and that is all Delphi.

Here is another question for you all:

If you had to immediately stop using Delphi, what would would you use to 
develop:
1) Windows GUIs
2) Web app GUIs (if you do)
3) Middleware (eg, ISAPI, ASP, custom TCP etc etc)
4) Server / Database
