No.... none of these comments are directed at a person, only directed at
the text presented.
And a state of mind. I dont care what anyone says. Anyone of us who finds
a dollar on the side of
the road is not making a pit stop to deliver it. I find most people if
they see someone dropping some
money normally call out. But I think most people who find money in the
gutter would probably keep it.

Just Debating ;)

My point is... and I will back it up quite easy, as i did with reference
to the world wide intellectual property
laws. That any written media, music, books, newspapers etc and software
are all copyright by default, and
anyone saying rubbish is going to accidentally be breaching such
copyrights if they think otherwise.

A software license is not something to ignore. a license is something that
takes a copyrighted work and says
if you follows these rules, (and maybe pay money or whatever) i will grant
you the right to use my copyrighted work. if there is no such statment
then you simply have no rights whatsoever to use anothers work... Thats
not rubbish. its fact.

I guess Grant just made some comments that were off the wall, and got
responded to. I also didn't call him a
software pirate. the "?" at the end of the question should have made it
quite clear that it was a question referring
to the statement that you can do anything you want with OpenSource, or any
other code you might download.
The fact is that you can.... and that makes you a pirate....

the word "you" is 3rd person context and should be construed as "anyone"
because this is a public forum for discussion, not berating individuals..
