[DUG] At a bit of a loss re SQL Archiving via Code

Personally I would use stored procedures with direct DB-DB connectivity.

INSERT INTO ServerX.Database..Table
FROM #MyTable

is a hell of a lot faster than INSERT INTO Table VALUES (:Parm1, :Parm2, 
.....)
